At La Onda, we love design and we love houses — old-school, new builds, beachside, hilltop, sophisticated hideaways, simple sanctuaries. We enjoy seeing all the beautiful and interesting homes tucked in and around Troncones, Majahua and La Saladita.

We also love connecting people, and since people are reading La Onda both in Mexico and outside of Mexico, naturally, we decided to create a STAY section — a place local homeowners can list their homes and a place area visitors can find somewhere to “stay” — a way for property owners to reach La Onda readers directly, without another booking platform taking a commission in the middle.

Today, La Onda launches STAY — a curated collection of vacation rentals, where each property gets its own editorial-style listing (with up to 8 photographs). We edit the useful details of each property and create a little story for you.

For visitors, it’s a way to find and connect with a rental, and to inquire and book directly. For property owners, for a simple annual listing fee, it’s a way to reach people truly interested in this area and your home.

On both sides, La Onda takes no commission on bookings. We don’t manage calendars or set rates or take reservations or handle payments. We make the connection; you take it from there.

We have quite a number of homes that have already jumped in — and we’re looking for more homes to be part of STAY. Do you have a vacation rental in Troncones, Majahua or La Saladita? Tell us about your place.
