Casa de Sueño

At the tip of Punta Majahua, Casa de Sueño sits on the point with the Pacific breaking in front of it. A private plunge pool sits at the edge of a lawn that runs right down to the sand.

The building is part of Punta Majahua, a complex of curving, wave-inspired residences by Zozaya Arquitectos, finished in 2021 and built with local parota and bamboo. This one-bedroom has a king bed, double sinks and a stone shower, plus an outdoor shower for sandy feet. The kitchen is set up for real cooking, and a built-in grill waits in the garden for whatever the fish market delivers that morning.

The living room opens straight outside, so the water is part of the room from morning on. The sunsets here are some of the coast’s best, and you can watch them from your own lounger.

Beyond the condo are a large shared pool and a lap pool with a view of the beach. Majahua, a fishing village, is close by, and so are its famous restaurants. Troncones is a short drive.
