The Majahua Loft is Mundá’s bigger home base: two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and room for four. It’s a refuge for slowing down to the rhythm of La Saladita, in a pocket of nature a few steps from the path to the sea, with a tropical garden growing around every corner, and only minutes from the famous Saladita wave,

‍

The first bedroom is open to the common areas, loft-style, so the whole place feels like one airy room. The second tucks away for a little privacy. There’s a kitchen, a workspace for the days you need one, free parking and a smart lock to check yourself in. It’s all designed to be enjoyed without haste.

‍

Its host, Fer Díaz, is an architect and photographer from San Luis Potosí who moved to Saladita four years ago to live near the sea and the waves. He lives nearby with his wife, their dog Mica and two rescued kittens, Atún and Ceviche, and he’s happy to share the life he came looking for.
