Villas Casa Tomasa
Villas Casa Tomasa began without anyone imagining it would one day host guests.
The family wanted a place of their own, to enjoy and share with friends and family, where everyone could still have a private corner. That’s how the main house and the four villas slowly took shape on one private property in Troncones, each with its own entrance, gathered around the pool and the grill.
The name is a tribute to Tomasa, the family’s great-grandmother. Choosing it was a way of keeping her present in a project that meant a great deal to them. Over time, life changed the plans, and they decided to open the doors to others.
The grill is where the long dinners happen. Terraces, hammocks and gardens fill the space between meals, and every unit has its own kitchenette. The property sleeps up to 20, with nine bedrooms across the main house and the villas. Depending on the season and availability, the main house and the villas can also be booked separately. The beach is about a ten-minute walk, with a small store on the corner and restaurants along the sand. Horseback rides, hiking, kayaking and lookouts are nearby, and Zihuatanejo is about 30 minutes by car.
Perla, who is in charge of Villas Casa Tomasa, says it has been wonderful to watch something that started out so personal become part of the memories of the people who visit.
